First Aid Courses
Unit Overview & Pre-Enrolment Requirements
Before attending your practical training session, all students must complete essential online components to ensure they are prepared for the course.
1. Language, Literacy, Numeracy & Digital (LLND) Assessment
After submitting your enrolment, you will receive a link to complete the LLND assessment online.
This assessment helps determine whether you have the communication, reading, writing, numeracy, and basic digital skills required to successfully engage in the training.
If you experience difficulty with the LLND assessment, please contact our team so that we can discuss options for additional support.
2. Online Theory Component
Once enrolled, you will receive access to the student portal, which includes reading materials and knowledge assessment questions.
Both the online theory and the LLND assessment must be completed at least 24 hours before your practical class.
The online learning may take up to 8 hours, depending on your current skill level.
Students who have not completed and submitted the online theory and LLND assessment before the practical session will not be permitted to attend.
3. Students Under 18
A parent or guardian must complete and sign the enrolment form on behalf of students under 18 years of age.
4. Practical Class Requirements
Wear comfortable clothing suitable for kneeling, bending, and performing CPR activities on the floor.
Inform staff before the session if you have any medical or physical conditions affecting your back, knees, or overall mobility, as CPR is physically demanding.
